Black Voices

Black Voices is a concert program that integrates Classical, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Spoken Word, presenting works all created by Artists from the African Diaspora. Presented in conjunction with the award winning emcee, LiKWuiD, the program consists of poetry by Langston Hughes, Ntozake Shange, Maya Angelou, as well as original spoken-word material, complemented with music by Duke Ellington, William Grant Still, Margaret Bonds and original compositions from Warp Trio.
